Deer Shed Festival returns to Baldersby Park, Thirsk, North Yorkshire over the weekend of July 26th – 29th bringing us, once again, what is probably the most family friendly festival of the summer. Delivering a fantastic line-up of music – 2024 headliners The Coral, Bombay Bicycle Club and CMAT are joined by festival favourites BC Camplight, The Go! Team, Stornoway and many others. Lower down the bill, but sure to be absolute standouts of the weekend, bands such as Baba Ali, Home Counties and VIJI add a superb alternative to the bigger names.
But Deer Shed is so much more than just a music festival. There’s comedy shows, cinema, literary and spoken word events, outdoor art events, green crafts, a ‘City Of Play’, wild swimming, yoga, science workshops and even a ‘Mini Shedders’ tent with activities specifically for the under fives. In fact there’s so much on offer for youngsters that it’s a guarantee that no matter their age boredom is one thing they won’t suffer from.
Deer Shed takes place in beautiful surroundings, is incredibly well organised, is a safe place and everything is reasonably priced. Campervan pitches are generous and family camping spacious.
