Planned as a one-off back in June 2024, featuring Gondolas as headline and an 11-strong line-up, Jan-fest really went off. So… 2 years on, due to popular demand, North West based music journalist, Janet Harding, brings back her vibrant and eclectic pub music festival this September.
Jan-fest…the Return features a full line-up with doors opening at midday, going on well into the night, across a main stage and smaller acoustic stage, both outdoors, amongst a selection of artisan stalls and stands. It’s Janet’s passion to bring original and well performed local music to a broader public’s attention, showcasing these wonderful talents to those who may not ordinarily find them. The artists performing are all musical treasures Janet has either featured in articles, written about, or reviewed whilst covering music events for the various magazines she writes for. With a varied range of styles and genres, Jan-fest aims to suit everyone. Family friendly, dogs welcome and under 18s until 8.00 pm.
Headlining will be the explosive and energetic ska electro, Zen Baseballbat, and indie Madchester. musical swagger fueled music makers, The Seminals, in a 14 strong line-up. Also joining us will be Liverpool based street/tag artist, Jay Wheeler, who will be tagging at the venue and tagging shirts. Live dj sets, an outdoor bar, pizza, and the best vibe around. 500 capacity and free entry, so get down early and secure your spot as this is a line-up not to be missed.
