Knowing how good they’d be we always intended to see at least two of the His Lordship shows on their current tour.
First up Finland’s Us who treated us to a superb set of psychedelic, 60’s tinged poptastic garage Rock N Roll. Great stuff from a band most here will have never seen before but I’m certain will see again next time they head this way.
Nervous Twitch always deliver. Tonight is no different and this Leeds three piece really do pump out a set of superb paired back garage rock full of that DIY punk attitude.
I didn’t think anything could beat last night’s performance by His Lordship at The Trades Club over in Hebden Bridge. I was right but tonight they certainly equalled it. Same set of songs, different order. Same high energy, passionate in your face Rock N Roll delivered with an unbelievably intense amount of frenetic energy. If you can get to see them on a remaining date of their tour make sure you do.
For now here’s an excessive amount of photos. Hopefully they give a feeling of just what the gig was like.
