Alex Spencer, a Mancunian singer-songwriter found fame at 16, after being discovered while busking in Manchester (which he started doing at 12 years old!). He was offered a record deal by Modern Sky and frankly hasn’t looked back since! Last year he released the popular EP ‘There’s Gotta Be More’, had a song featured on the FIFA 25 soundtrack, played several major festivals and supported some of the UK’s newest and most popular artists on tours.
He recently released ‘Wake Me Up’ which is already gaining popularity with the infectiously catchy lyrics, guitar riffs and youthful energy. At 18, Alex Spencer has already achieved a lot, but it doesn’t look like he is planning on stopping any time soon! He will be touring around the UK next month (including Manchester) and will be playing at various festivals throughout the summer. I am intrigued to see what else he does in the future, but whatever it is, I am sure he will do well.
