Celebrating its 10 year anniversary Middlesborough’s award winning Twisterella music festival returns to the town on Saturday 12th October. This really is a one day musical extravaganza guaranteed to bring something that will appeal to lovers of practically any musical genre. A multi-venue event, the main venues are centred around Teesside University but even those furthest away are less than a 10 minute stroll.
Venue headliners include Chalk, Martha, Pom Poko and The Howl & The Hum. Alongside the headliners are fast-rising alternative indie-pop quartet Low Girl, hotly-tipped Crewe punks Christian Music, Cardiff-based post-punk newcomers Slate, and Leeds/Wakefield garage-rock outfit Tiger Island along with local favourites in the form of Be Quiet.Shout Loud!, Amelia Coburn and much more.
Always brilliantly organised, some truly fantastic bands in some great venues and with a ticket price starting at a mere £19.50 Twisterella really is incredible value for money.
2023’s event was fantastic. We can’t wait to return this year.
