Call of the Wild returns to Lincolnshire Showground in 2026 with the kind of swagger only a true rock ‘n roll festival can pull off. Over the past 7 years, CotW has earned a reputation for being one of the friendliest rock and metal festivals, with a family atmosphere and a diverse lineup to suit the most discerning fan.
This year will be no exception, with the lineup featuring both fan favourites and rising stars. The organisers certainly haven’t eased off the throttle with this one! Headliners Florence Black, Onslaught and Von Hertzen Brothers bring us an exciting mix of melodic grunge, thrash, prog and classic rock between them, and the undercard is just as eclectic, with a mix of nostalgia, fresh energy and attitude.
As always, we can look forward to the Kilmister and Southall Lawless stages hosting bands back to back (and literally side by side!) with no clashes, and the Trailblazer stage at the back of the Wolfpack bar showcasing emerging talent. Excellent food stalls, merch traders and extras such as a tattoo tent round out the festival experience, but the real magic is the sense of community that keeps fans coming back year after year. I for one can’t wait to be back amongst the Call of the Wild family at the end of May.
