Sadly our Reviewer was unable to attend but back in 1996 I was a barman at Manchester City’s old stadium, Maine Road. As well as matches we served at Concerts too, on July 9th that year it was Bon Jovi, supported by none other than Skunk Anansie.
It has taken me 26 years to follow up on that gig considering how good Skunk Anasie were. Tbh it would have been 24 if it weren’t for covid.
I was even set to miss this one but our Photographer was double booked so I grabbed my chance.
Skin is a very powerful vocalist and while I was there picked up a few songs to add to my faves Spotify playlist
