2024 will see the return of Maid Of Stone to Maidstone’s Mote Park after the success of its inaugural event in 2023. Taking the place of Ramblin’ Man Fair which had been held for several years in the same venue, it’s a 3 day hard rocking music festival featuring three stages and 37 of the best internationally renowned bands combined with the best of up and coming British rock artists.
This year will see Superstar US rock band Mr Big headline on Sunday night, in what is likely to be one of their last UK performances. They will be joined on Friday by Scottish rockers Gun who will be celebrating 30 years of their album Swagger. On Saturday Wolfmother will headline.
Other artists due to perform over the weekend are melodic rockers Tyketto, Preacher Stone, Jared James Nichols, Essex rock duo When Rivers Meet, Living Colour, Those Damn Crows and Blaze Bayley.
A further 25 acts are still to be announced. “I couldn’t be more excited with the line-up we’re building for 2024,” said festival booker Chris Wright. “We’re really building something special here in Maidstone and we cannot wait to open those gates in July.”
