The second weekend in August will see the return of the much-talked-about Firevolt Rock Festival on the beautiful Whitebottom Farm near Stockport. This year is the 5th Edition Celebration and it’s already set to be a year to remember.

The headliners have now been announced as Mason Hill, Massive Wagons and The Wildhearts, three bands who certainly pack a punch and will keep the crowd wowed until the end of each day. The undercard also promises to maintain the festival’s reputation for melting faces, with a heady mix of alternative, metal, NWOCR and hard rock.

As if that’s not enough, there is a 99-foot bar at the back of the barn stage, a real ale pub, amazing food vendors with something for everyone, merch and jewellery stalls and a gorgeous location to explore if you want some down time. Then there’s the after party, with bands keeping us entertained until late into the night, and “Jam With Jack” – a chance to take to the stage and jam with Jack J Hutchinson – returns as a popular addition for the early risers.
Firevolt is a small festival with a massive presence which is well worth checking out. It has become known for its family atmosphere, and many people say they would feel comfortable going alone as everyone is so friendly, and you certainly wouldn’t be alone for long.

Three days, two stages (with no clashes!) and a lineup built for rock lovers mean the 2026 edition is poised to be one of the festival’s most exciting yet. Whether you’re there for the riffs, the camaraderie or the full weekend festival experience, Firevolt 2026 looks ready to deliver another unforgettable summer gathering, and I can’t wait to be back in the field with the Firevolt Family.
