Electric Six Manchester Club Academy 1/12/21

Detroits Electric Six turned a cold Wednesday night in Manchester into a red hot party with their risqué tunes and funky disco rock n roll music.

Dick Valentine

Frontman Dick Valentine was casually charismatic, initially introducing songs as song number 1,song number 2 etc and giving the crowd his accustomed little wave every now and then.

Everyone will know this band for the songs GAY BAR and DANGER! HIGH VOLTAGE, which definitely got the whole room singing along, but the setlist was jam packed with even more quality tracks, I particularly enjoyed DOWN AT MCDONALDZ, SYNTHESISER and DANCE COMMANDER.

Dick Valentine

The crowdsurfers were out  too, adding to the atmosphere, everyone was having a ball, they are such a great live band you really don’t need to know all the songs to enjoy them, and although it was quite an early finish they still managed to pack a healthy 21 songs into the set. More music, less chit chat equals more fun. Check out the setlist below….
