Y NOT FESTIVAL has become bigger and better since it began in 2005, but this year’s line-up has to be the UK festival line-up of 2022 for me. As if STEREOPHONICS, COURTEENERS, MANIC STREET PREACHERS, NOTHING BUT THIEVES AND BLOSSOMS wasn’t enough they have now announced an additional Thursday line up with THE KOOKS headlining.
Other acts that I would highly recommend seeing are BLACK HONEY, VACCINES, REYTONS, PALE WAVES, DAYTIME TV, AIRWAYS and KING NO-ONE. There are also plenty more big names on the bill, GABRIELLE, THE LEVELLERS, KELIS, JAKE BUGG, AMY MACDONALD, late night DJ set with SIGALA for the party animals and the one and only MR. MOTIVATOR who is pure entertainment.
Y NOT is not just all about the fantastic music though, there will be plenty of other stuff to do like family activities, comedy, food, carnival, cinema…. Trust me there won’t be enough hours in the day to fit everything in. So buy your ticket, if you haven’t already, get your camping gear, wellies and fancy dress outfits ready and look forward to a fun packed long weekend at Y NOT.
