Then Jerico celebrate their First Album with a Tour

Back in 1987 was the time I heard Then Jerico for the first time with The Motive, nearly 40 years later Mark Shaw’s Then Jerico are touring to celebrate the album ‘First ( The sound of Music)‘ in the UK.

It’s one of the only albums I know that every song is an absolute banger with songs like Let Her Fall, Muscle Deep, The Hitcher and Laughter Party.

At the time it must have been a nightmare deciding which songs made it to the album because even the B Sides to the singles were very good too. Songs like Searching, Electric and One Life are always on my playlists.

The album is a testament to how 4 musicians styles can come together and create something pretty special…….Jasper Stainthorpes basslines, Scott Taylors excellent riffs, Steve Wrens flawless drumming and the icing on the cake is Mark Shaws epic vocals.

If you have never heard this album then I recommend you look it up on Spotify and give it a listen.

Here are the dates for the tour and there are limited Meet and Greets at Liverpool and Birmingham.
