Jordan Allen at Factory, Manchester

Review by Joanne Marsland

Bolton’s Jordan Allen played Factory Manchester on Saturday along with 3 other up and coming bands Carpet, Static Union and Meet The Fishermen. As part of Indie Week UK they then progressed to the Best of the Fest the following night and if you’ve had the pleasure of seeing them live you will know why.Jordan and his fellow band members Danny, Kieran and Nathan throw everything they have into their performance leaving puddles of sweat in their wake. Clever lyrics and catchy tunes had the crowd jumping and singing along to all the favourites from Helter Skelter straight through to the anthem that is R.O.S.I.E. and including 110 Ways To Make Things Better, Too Much Too Soon and Imperial Leather Drama. Newer songs Synchronised and Half Life Lover sounded polished and the guys also gave Manchester their first play of the next single Naked. This band are really going places and the next stop is Toronto for a spot at Indie Week Canada in November and then a headline tour in the U.K. Good luck guys and hope to see you back in Manchester soon.
