I’d heard really good things about Evil Blizzard, had to make sure I was there and with my camera. As per a lot of gigs this year, this was a rescheduled show.
It’s hard to describe them, maybe what a band would be like if they were rinsed in Bio Chemicals after spending 20 years in an Apocolyptic Asylum. BUT I love their sound and the crowd are off their rockers.
People were dressed to party and at every chance booed the band, not cos they were pants either, the boys on stage thrive off it.
Sadly, due to the time of the show starting late I was unable to stay till the end, my tram beckoned. As for the gig, they are unique and their music is bang on, nice and dark. Me likey. Cannot wait to see them again.
On my way out, a lad asked me if i was a Blizzard fan, i replied ‘I am now’
